ASR turns off by itself.

ASR turns off by itself. Anyone hear of this? I get some strange issues. Sometimes I will be driving and the light comes on in the dash and the light turns off on the switch. But if you press the button it does nothing. It resets after I restart the car though. Is there a fix for this. All I need is to get stuck in the rain and it goes out on me.

Mine turns itself off when I start the car and I'm popping code:
C0236 "Rear Wheel Speed Signal Circuit Missing" C ($28) "Traction Control System (TCS) or Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM)"
