throwing 6 codes-- yikes

Default throwing 6 codes-- yikes

sorry if i ask a lot of stupid quesitons, im pretty new to all this...

i went to autozone to get a scan bc my SES light was on and it the scan came back with 6 codes...

1. system too lean bank 1 po171
2. system too lean bank 2 po174
3. EVAP emission control system leak small po442
4. Idle control system RPM high po507
5. system too lean bank 1 po171-PD
6. system too lean bank 2 po174-PD

how bad is all this and what should be my next step to correcting the problem? i dont even really know what runnin too lean means

Probably a vaccum leak. Probably evap related or loose hoses, leaky manifold ect. If there is a leak past the maf it lets in unmetered air thus causing it to run lean, that also explains the high idle.

evap emissions??? That's your fuel system, so sually whne my wife's trailblazer throws this code, i go tighten her gascap and she's good to go
