throwing 6 codes-- yikes
throwing 6 codes-- yikes sorry if i ask a lot of stupid quesitons, im pretty new to all this...
i went to autozone to get a scan bc my SES light was on and it the scan came back with 6 codes...
1. system too lean bank 1 po171
2. system too lean bank 2 po174
3. EVAP emission control system leak small po442
4. Idle control system RPM high po507
5. system too lean bank 1 po171-PD
6. system too lean bank 2 po174-PD
how bad is all this and what should be my next step to correcting the problem?
i dont even really know what runnin too lean means

Probably a vaccum leak. Probably evap related or loose hoses, leaky manifold ect. If there is a leak past the maf it lets in unmetered air thus causing it to run lean, that also explains the high idle.
