car help

car help ok well i got my car porfesionally(sp) tuned awhile back b4 i put a stall and the ls6 intake in it..and i was wondering if any would my tune be off...he turned off all that TM on my tranny and stuff..and the 1-2 shift is about 5650rpm and the 2-3 is at 6100 and every now and then bumps the revlimiter thats at 6200..when im driving at night and i get on it i look in the rearview and in the people behind me`s headlight i see a bunch of black smoke(and a buddy behind me once told me) so i guess my car is running rich..so i dono i have no clue on tunning thats y im asking yall..i have a kinda important race coming up and i want my car runnin in top performance so do yall think its worth the time to get it retuned? and i bought the car used and it has like 77k miles would having stock spark plugs hurt my performance any? thanx for the help...

yeha im goin too...just want to know about the tuning im goin to get it looked at hopefully its WAY off so i cant get some hp and be faster lol. we all got high hopes!
