Hypertech issue Hey all, I need some help and advice! Yes, I know the PP is crap, but I have one, so here is the story.
Bought it back when I got my 99 TA. Have no receipt for it and I can't even remember where I bought it from. Well, I used it when I got it to put a tune on it and change the fans. After that, I stuck it in a box and threw it on the shelf. Well, I just changed out my rear gears and grabbed the programmer and got an "Power Programmer not Initialized" error. Kept trying with the same results. Called Hypertech and they say to get the receipt and vin and mail it back to them! Can't find the receipt for the life of me. Anyone have any advice for this? Should I phony something up or just ship it back and bite the bullet for what they are going to charge me?
