Is there some sort of switch for LS1s that let you switch from an N/A tune to a nitrous tune? My mustang buddy was talking about them.

not for LS1's that I am aware of. However this is a good reason for your tuner to provide you with a flasher that has your tunes on it, vs just flashing your pcm directly, leaving you stuck with their final file.

The Mustangs this is easy, since they use a add on chip, you can switch between multiple files on the fly.
