can the iac be deleted or removed without causing a check engine light
I was looking on the net and found this http://modernmusclecars.net/forums/articles.php?do=emic from what I understand is that the check engine light won't come on unless the idle is 200 above or below what the computer thinks it should be at idle. right now I just have it unplugged and it took a few tries to unplug it at the right time so that the idle is where I want it. is there a way to make the computer not care about were its idling. its not that big of a deal but I would like the check engine light off so that I will know when something is not working such as o2 sensors etc.
