Off and on sputtering and misfiring! Please Give Advice

Off and on sputtering and misfiring! Please Give Advice Hey guys-
I just started having problems with my driver side coils. I have had this apart a few times lately so keep that in mind.
Car was runs fine most the time but sputters and misses off and on.
I checked the driver side plugs...all are black and wet...so coils must not fire very good or at all sometimes.
When i checked this the coil assembly bracket was somewhat loose due to a stripped thread or 2 so what i think happened is a loose wire prly ground wire at the connector to the coils or from there back to the comp.
Where do the coil grounds meet?
i heard behind the driver head???
Please help if you can give advice.
