Default Firming up shifts?

I use LT1-Edit and want to firm up my shifts. What table do I use and what is a nice firm feeling shift?

making shifts firmer by increasing line pressure with the tune i believe is a bad way to go, you should do it by getting a shift kit...

As long as you are somewhat conservative with it, you'll be fine. TONS of people have done this, it's a pretty standard auto tuning procedure.

The best way is to change the "shift time" tables rather than editing any of the line pressure tables directly. Lower the shift times in those tables for firmer shifts. Don't set any below about 0.15-0.2 sec though as the trans doesn't usually like anything lower than that.

this was my "shift time vs tps table" i was using. This was in TC, im not sure what its called in lt1edit.

You might also want to increase the max line pressure constant. I think I set mine to 110 or somewhere around there.
