evap not ready

evap not ready and i need to go for emissions. i had the battery disconnected last tues or wed to do some work on the car and it still hasnt passed the readiness test.
any idea why?

Dunno - how many miles have you put on it? Maybe a couple drive cycles will do it. www.obdii.com/drivecycle.html
