1000 Posts on this one I did the search and i read every single thread i could find on this subject... Yet nobody in any thread said anything about there car NOT starting at all

P1637 Is my code
Just finished my motor and tranny swap & i still need my exhaust welded back on but i dought open headers would prevent my car from starting.. Or would it?
Any help would be awsome

I believe that is a theft code, off top of head would have to look it up to be sure. For some reason care thinks it's being stollen.
P1637 - Generator 2 L-Terminal Circuit. Points to the alternator, which shouldn't affect starting. As mentioned above check the battery voltage at the battery and the AUX post by the fusebox. Did you set this code without illuminating the SES light and are you sure this is the actual code?
