Default EFI Live?

Tried to hook up my car to a buddies EFI Live yesterday and it would not connect to the car. We then we took it over to his car and it had no problems connecting. Both cars are 98's, any ideas? Or does my car just suck. Thanks, Mike

In theory you can tune yours for free as efilive can do unlimited 98's
Post up on eflive as Im sure you will get more help there. Send the log file in etc.

I have not used EFILive on a '98. Why don't you go over to their forum http://forum.efilive.com/ and ask this question.

Yes i found out that the hard way.... If your CIG Lighter dont work... no power to the OBD port..
It will run you crazy tryin to figure it out.

Check for any Blown Fuses in your fuse box..

Have a good day!

No it doesn't. Seems like the response I was looking for on this. I was assuming it was electrical, but wonder if anyone had heard of this before. What should I look into to fix this problem.

Do as he says. Look for any blown fuses as that is likely the problem.

Well after checking the fuses I found the culprit. Thanks all for the insight. Wished I would have known that fuse powered the OBD also. Thanks again, Mike.
