Newbie With Hptuners ok im at the starting point in the HPtuners main menu where do i go to look at what is causing my SES light to come on? i have read the sticky but i guess we need a dummies edition lol sorry guys for this but im just trying to learn this. at the main menu at the top there is like engine the like tranny which one of those do click on to look at what is causing the ses light to come on??? and after i find then what do i do?

to check for SES lights you need to use the scanner... (not the editor, which is what you have open) ... I would strongly recommend reading the help files that are included w/the software.... as they explain all of this
after you find the codes.... use the search feature in this forum (the codes are generally letter followed by 4 numbers... so if you get a P0420 ... search for P zero four two zero and not P O four two zero)
but read the help file first (it's big... but very inciteful...)
