new to tuning ok well i have decided to buy hptuners, i think, because there is no one in middle tennessee that can tune an ls1. im pretty good with computers but i know that with tuning software i can really mess up a car if i don't know what im doing. and i don't know what im doing. is there any way to not mess up a car while tuning?
just take it slow, read the help file, read the stickies here & on our forum, and ask questions. Make sure you save your stock file in several places so you at least have a known entity if you need to go back to your stock settings for some reason. Use the compare & history features to track your changes. And go slow...take it one small step at a time that way you'll have less of a chance to make an error...every change is color coded to help you detect errors also there are limits on every table so you wont go out of range.
