SD tune VS MAF tune which one ?

SD tune VS MAF tune which one ? hey guys. My friend has the HP tuner program and is tuning my car right now. He already turned off all the small stuff like air injection. I am debating if I should go with Speed density and replace the MAF sensor with one single pipe strieght from the lid to the throttle, or should I stay with MAF tune? What do you guys think? What are the advantages and disadvantages in both?
a good tune with the VE and the MAF dialed in and tweaking AFR and spark will do you good.
there is no need for SD. i have efi live if you want help with dialing in the ve or the maf
look at my results with my MAF, and I'm only bolt-ons. no cam no heads.. just intake exhaust, tuning..., all the stuff in the sig

Yea MAF is good to have sometimes. But its been a pain in the *** to tune on my car so far. I guess me and my friend just have to spend more time on it to get it right. with the SD tune the car is runing pretty good right now.
