My car set this code yesterday when I made a quick pass on the street through 1st and 2nd gears. It has been tuned after the mods in my sig. Is the MAF maxed out at WOT? The car has about 300 miles since the heads and cam. Thanks

Nope, I dont think it is maxed out.
I had this on my 3rd Gen Firebird, I know its a different setup, and it was a V6. On Idle the car was fine, normal driving the car was fine, but at WOT it stumbled. I had the hood up, looked around the engine bay, had the engine running. Could not see any loose cables, so i closed the hood, When closing the hood, the car almost cut out. so i tried it again, and then again it almost cut out, nothing was touching the hood. So thought something must be loose. Checking the IAC vale and anything I could see. Then started tapping things, eventually tapped the MAF, the car stumbled.
To cut a long story from getting longer, It was a wire in the MAF, them really fine wired that touch the reistors, it was broke. No I never touched the MAF before, so it was just age. So with this wire disconnecting during vibration the car had problems. Perhaps there is something wrong with you MAF. Tap it to see what happenes.
Is their oil on the maf from an aftermarket filter?
You may be running the MAF to about 8000Hz at your max lb/min, the MAF can go higher than 10,000Hz, so I dont beleive its that maxing out.

You may have failed to raise the MAF limit.
