warning to aeroforce scangauge users I recently switched my old three gauge pod with dual scangauges and a boost gauge for a 2 gauge pod with two new style gauges that have analog inputs. I used two of the inputs for boost and wideband afr. Instead of using a dedicated map sensor, I just tied in to the one on my intake. This worked fine until I disconnected the gauges in order to log with HPT. The map read over 2#'s of boost at idle causing the car to die. Somehow the scangauges were backfeeding voltage when disconnected from the OBD port that they pick up ground from. Also, my wideband reading is off now by several points. In the morning I will diagnose this problem further. For now I would suggest quick disconnects for the analog inputs if anyone is using these gauges.
Yep I found this out too, with my WB. Maybe a diode could keep it from back feeding the voltage to my EFILive , but for now, when I unplug it to connect Live I just unplug the wire from my WB to the gauge.

Just to be safe, I'm going to a dedicated map sensor, and running all the other connections (boost, fuel pressure, wideband, and main power) through a quick connect fitting that I can unhook while using HPT. I love the functionality of the gauges, I just hate these little surprises.
