Crazy Idle Problem
Crazy Idle Problem Car has heads/cam. Car was untuned when I bought it. I did a rough tune on the idle, got the IAC counts down. Idled great while tuning the VE. When I plugged the MAF back in, I had some stalling issues, so I spent some time on the RAF and its pretty good now in all conditions but 1.
Every day I drive to work, about 20 miles city/highway. I park in a parking garage on the 3rd or 4th floor. Without fail, the car dies and will not idle in the parking garage. I am always going up hill and making right hand turns every hundred feet. I don't get it.
Is there something about the idle that freaks out at the end of a 30 min cruise that causes this? At home on the weekends I have no idle issues, this only happens in the parking garage at work.
