What causes an A4 to not Go when floored?

Question What causes an A4 to not Go when floored?
I dunno if I have the wrong forum ,but when I am going down the road in Drive and Floor it the cars doesnt wanna go.It dont kick down and move.Not throwing any codes and I checked misfires and Have none.This isnt all of the time just sometimes.what would cause this?TIA

Assuming this is at WOT, sounds like the the WOT kickdown tables need to be adjusted. If not, the upshift by VSS table need to be lowered as well.

DrkPhx ,It is at WOT only.I was woundering if it could also be my TPS sensor?I have had it do this while logging it says 100% tps but I didnt see if the TPS voltage was there.I didnt log that.But if it reads 100% position it means its working properly ,right?

Doubt it's the TPS. You can try and lower WOT by TPS table to slightly less than 100%. But more than likely you need to adjust the TCC release table and Downshift by VSS tables. 4000 plus stalls seem to play havoc with these tables causing this problem. It has taken me countless hours to tweak the trans tune, even then it's still not 100% perfect. Oddly enough, I can roll in the throttle and it will kickdown perfectly, but if I stomp on the pedal, it hesitates for a second. Which leads me to believe it's slack in the cable. Unfortunately for a non-tcs car the cable is not adjustable.
