Default WOT timing

Just curious how much WOT timing most people are throwing at 402/408ci LSX motors. I've got some pretty good heads on it along with a 250+* cam and a FAST 90 setup. Any ideas what ballpark I should be in? I know my tuner knows what he's doing, I'm just curious how much timing guys are throwing at these motors. It is NA too...

Thanks!
-Jeremy

*I think right now we've got about 28* in it but we're not done tuning it yet. I would think we'd gain some power and ET with more timing but like I said we're not done tuning it yet. Thoughts?

Get some dyno time and start conservative. Bump 2* at a time until you find the sweet spot. BTW - I'd be willing to bet >95% of the 25 people who have viewed this aren't running that much displacement.

Good point. Unfortuneatly, it appears there is just not enough documented evidence / actual owners willing to post up. Maybe in time

I am running ~29 @ 3000 then down to 26 at peak Tq then back up to 28 I havent played to much on the dyno or the track with the timing but the car feels good.
