Smog is killing me California sucks! I have a couple of questions for you guys. I have a 96 ws6 by the way. How many o2 sensors are on my car and where are they? How much labor should a shop charge me to put two in? Are o2 sensors bank 1 sensor 1 and 2 considered upstream or downstream? Can I use borg warner part #os128 for both? I have codes p0134, p0135, and p0137. Also, I heard that our cars don't need to run through a cycle like most other obdII cars. Is that true? If so, couldn't I just delete the codes and hope they don't pop back up until after the smog test? Thank you so much to whoever responds.

Check out the descriptions and test procedures here for those DTC codes. I'm pretty sure you can not just clear the code and go take the emissions test, as your PCM will need to go through all of its diagnostics before you'll pass. If this is the first time the codes have shown, clear them and see if it returns. My guess is that they will.
