INOP and Trac Off light

INOP and Trac Off light Last night acting like a fool I did a little burnout for some friends and held my car the gas spinning first thru second. When my car hooked up I noticed that my INOP/Abs light and my trac off lights were on. When trying to cut my trac control back on the button doesn't seem to work and the trac control is stuck off. When I got home I killed my car and started it back up to see if the lights would clear but they are still on does anyone know what the problem is I would appreciate your feedback. (02 WS6 A4)
Sounds like your ABS sensors to me...it they aren't working properly, they'll throw the ABS inop light and turn off your traction control (since it uses the same sensors for both systems). If you have a 3 channel, the sensor is on top of your rear end's pumpkin. A 4 channel will be one at each wheel. The simple thing to do is to check the connections and go from there. One could have gotten knocked around a little or something...
The lights should reset after you move the car the second time. It was because your front sensors where getting much less pulses than the rears durring your big burnout. It is just thinking something is wrong even though it isnt. Same thing happens when you are on the dyno... No biggie.
