Flashing a Custom OS I bought EFILive a few months ago. I've been reading up on EFILive a bit and the custom OS's and I'm would like to switch over to a 2001 or 2002 OS and then the 2Bar OS when im into FI. I currently have a 2000 TA and there arn't any custom OS's that I could find for it in the tutorial file. What steps would I need to change my OS? I currently have just the personal version (oops on my part there) but is it possible with my personal version to reflash?
With the personal version you will not be able to do a full reflash. You need the Commercial version for this. And in your case with your 2000 OS you can just ugrade everything to an 01 or 02 OS and call it a day. When you are ready for the Custom OS's you will at that time pick the custom os that matches the 01 or 02 stock OS that you picked. What was teh exact date you purchased your EFILive Cable

It takes a Comercial license. Read the Custom OS Tutorial. You can upgrade to a 2001 or 2002 COS. You'll have to handraulically transfer your cars tune to the COS.
I have a 2000 and am running COS3 for a 2002, well worth the effort.

I ordered my EFILive Personal on 06/24/2006. I'm thinking I better get an LC-1 too, now that im getting into tuning alot more. What makes the 2002 OS better then 2000 anyway? Different tables or something?

You can upgrade for $50 during a current sale. Check www.efilive.com to see if the sale is still on. I have a 2001 running COS5.
