tuning quesions? when to tune?
tuning quesions? when to tune? im modifying my car in steps. right now the car sits bone stock with a tire, dry shot, ls6 intake manifold, and gutted cats. im going to install the full exhaust soon and do the cam later this winter. i havent sprayed the car yet and neither did the previous owner. my question is when do i tune it. after exhaust/headers? and after i get full exhaust i want to spray, should i get it tuned for spray? it might be to cold to spray and probably wont get a chace to until the cam in in anyway. or tune when i get the cam installed?
I would definitly at least figure out your a/f on spray for now to see if your in a safe range...also having gutted cats there are a bunch of tweaks you could do for the NA side of things...if your going to do your mods one by one you might wanna consider your next mod being tuning software though
