Default New to the board... Question for guys with mildly cammed LT1's

Hi, I'm new to the site. I have 1971 Camaro and I'm running a Gen 1 SBC (ZZ4) with a TPIS Miniram intake, using a 1990 Camaro TPI style-computer. I'm also running a roller cam with 212° deg duration on the intake. So mechanically, I'm very similar to an LT1/LT4 non-sequential injection setup. So, I wanted to get some tuning info from the LT1 guys.

What timing are you running at idle? I have the factory timing maps and have input those into my calibration. But I'm wondering what you guys with successfuly tunes are running for mildly cammed LT1 engines.

Also, what cam are you running, what vacuum are you pulling, are you running the factory torque converter, and what is your idle speed in and out of gear?

LAstly, for guys with non-sequential injection LT1's, how's your idle quality? Is it as smooth as stock after the spark tuning?

I have my BLMs at 128 but the idle is rougher than I'd like it to be. I've tried various timing. Vacuum is ~16 inHg in park and ~13 in gear with my cam.

Here's my closed tps spark table for my 93 lt1 when I had a ZZ4 cam. Car idled fine with a very very slight lumpy idle. zz4 cam 208/221 and .474/.510. I pulled about 17 inHg at idle, and fairly smooth. I just gave the points up to 1600, timing stayed at 34 for the rest of the table. This was from a known tuner. Car is a 6 spd.
