IAC Problem/Question i'm tryin to finish tuning my car with the mods listed below. i'm pretty well done but i cant get it to idle for very long before it starts speeding up and slowing down. i was watching the idle air counts and it will go from 40ish and just start dropping for no reason, so it will fly open to around 140 and as soon as the rpms come back up it will drop down to 20ish and will just go back and forth until it stalls out. is there a way that i can slow down how quickly its opening and shutting? thanks.
Can't say about HPT, but in my copy of EFILive there are three different airflow tables in the idle learning section that control the IAC valve. HPT and EFI usually have access to the same stuff...so I'd say look around in the idle section for anything that may relate to airflow learning, direct airflow, filtered airflow, etc.

yea i've adjusted them and it helped some but not much. it still wants to fly open and shut. if i'm thinkin of the right things you're refering to the integral, derivative, and proportional tables.
