Default Wideband?

I am upgrading to the HPTuners MPVI Pro and want to get a wideband setup to go along with that. I have read about a few different ones and have noticed some price differences. Which one would you guys recommend I get? Which one has the display that looks like a mulitmeter?

Dont know about the display one you are looking for. I would recomend the AEM Uego unit. Part #30-4100. It is a simple one wire hook up to the HPTuners EIO.

LM1, LC1, AEM, PLX...there are a bunch of them that work well with hptuners...personally I chose the LM-1 because of its portability. Chad from Greenlightmotorsports sells them for a pretty good price as well as the LC-1, both would work very well for you.

I have an LM1. Very simple to set up. No problems at all.

I completely agree! I have been using an AEM for a long time now, it is the best wideband hands down IMO. Good luck either way.

I personally love the LM1. I sell more LC1's to customers, but prefer the LM1 hands down just for the fact it is easier to install. Once you have done it, you can install it in a car in less then 20mins from start to finish.

What is the difference between the LM1 RPM kit and the LM1 Basic kit? Which one would I need? Also, will I be able to hook this up to my HPTuners after I upgrade?

LM1 basic is what you'll need to hook up to hptuners...its what I've been using for over 2 years now...you won't need anything else to hook it up...everything is included either with the LM1 or the HPT MPVI Pro

That is good because it was cheaper. Is it the FAST kit worth the extra money to get the sensors for both banks?

Nevermind guys...I just bought a brand new in the box Dual sensor FAST wideband for 425 shipped. It was a little higher than the LM1 but well worth that. Thanks for the info guys.

What is the life span on WB 02 sensors? I have seen some OEM's use them and I believe even the Megasquirt PCM has an option to use WB only. Just wondering how many continous hours these things are good for.

I just bought HPT as well and am looking for a WB. I dont understand why the LM1 is suggested to get over the LC1. Is the only diff. in the two the hand held unit on the LM as opposed to the plugs that go into your computer for the LC?

The main difference between the two is actually going to be portability and ease of installation. The LC1 is a hardwire install where the LM1 draws power/ground from the cigarette lighter. You can install a LM1 in a vehicle in under 20mins from start to finish.

as long as theres an extra bung installed in a customers car it takes me about 3 minutes start to finish...2 1/2 of that is installing the sensor I think hehe. Yeah the LM-1 is just super simple to setup whereas the LC-1 takes more time & its hardwired...really can't beat it for the price though.
