Bonafied 99+ computer that I can upgrade or............?

Default Bonafied 99+ computer that I can upgrade or............?
Okay, I have my eye on this 10/98 (so the door sticker says) camaro. I pulled the computer and it has a service # 09354896 . First question, is this the 99+ that is so differant from the 98 computers? Second, I can throw any 99-2002 computer int the car and go, correct?

10/98 is a 99 car.

If I remember correctly the 98 computer is twice as thick as the 99+. The 98 is totally incased in cast aluminum and the 99+one side has a tin cover.
