Hypertech Programmer. VIN Lock.

Yo Guys. I have a Hypertech Plus Programmer for a 95 LT1 Trans Am. I supercharger the car. Then returned the program back to stock. I just sold it to a guy on E bay. Now he says it VIN locked. I know I returned the stock program to the car. Do these programmers only work on the first car it used on?I told him to send it back to me. I'll try again to reprogram to stock. But I thought I did.

No, once you return it to stock it unlocks the VIN. Your return to stock must have had errors. I sold mine after unlocking it and the new owner had no issues.
