hp tuners vin question

If have a license for two different vehicles and have read both, can I just change the VIN on the files and swap the tunes between the vehicles?

The reason I ask is because a buddy of mine bought a Procharger for his Silverado SS off of another Silverado SS and we were wondering if we could just swap the tunes between the trucks.

just use the copy over differences feature in the end it will be closer to hassle free and you wont have to do a write entire, etc.

copy over differences? is this a feature that will automatically copy the differences over? or do I have to copy and paste all of the diffs? Excuse me for being a newb.

Does that copy differences from open file ---> compare file or compare file ---> open file?
