Default Is this a good time to buy tuning software??

Like the title says, is this a good time to buy tuning software (efi live or hptuners) or are newer, more advanced levels of this software coming out soon which I could wait for?? Should the current versions be top for a while before the next big jump in enhancements occur?

I think the hardware is just about at its pinnicle at this point, software though will always progress.

HPtuners updates are free, and I think EFIlive is the same. You would need to have some bizarre, eclectic combo in order to need more than what either of these companies currently offer. I personally use HPT, because when I originally bought tuning software EFI wasn't available yet, but they both are much better than Ls1-edit.

Anytime is good. With the packages that are available now, it doesn't really matter IMO.

Vader,

Go for it. Learning to tune is just as much of an art as a well thought out engine combo.

I bought my stuff from Greenlight Motorsports. With the package deals Chad has, they are hard to beat.

To answer your question: IMHO, now is as good a time as any to get your Solution.

If the current software works, you want to lag new software releases by at least 6 Mos anyhow.
