GM.IAC shows the number of steps, found under the 'Air' section in the PID list.

Edit: Pressed wrong button LOL.. Is your car cable or electronic throttle?

I know... I need the IAC counts not steps. I was to check my counts to see if im close to 40 because my car is struggeling to idle. It is Cable.

is it selected in your Pid tab? If your right click on that properties tab it will tell you why it has a line thru it.

In the log file it self it says its not a valid selection, but when i Open the Scan software with no logs loaded it show IAC with no line thru it.

Yes.... For some reason everytime i open the old logs it switchs the pids around which is why i get the thru line through the pids.... So now everytime im done looking at an old log i shut down the scan tool and open it again so it can load my pids or I can just load it up from the load option in the tabs. When loading up the pids i want... i have to make sure that i load the A and B to make sure they match. I think that was the confusion.

The best we could do with the counts or steps is 80-90.... So we drilled a larger hole in the TB and that helped a bit.

I think I would have left them at 80-90. How did the car run with them there compared to where it is now?

Slightly better, but i never logged the IAC steps after the 1/4" whole... We just called it a night. We might dyno the car today N/A to see where its at before we bolt the SC to it.

The strange thing is that the 408 requires less VE to idle than the 346 needed. I thought it would be the opposite, but i think its due to the low compression of 8.4:1 of this 408.
