Quick question about LS1edit

I am looking for a daily driver truck as I wrote off my car last month

but i have a bit of a delima. I really want an LSx motor for the easy self tuning I can do with LS1edit (or at least I've been told i can self tune with that), but I dont want to pay for the fuel when im just driving around town. I was looking closer at an Envoy or Trailblazer with the inline6. My question is...can I tune these engines as easily? Has anybody modded one of these inline6 motors? Any input would help alot, common weak links, anyone with experience, you know.

Do you mean an lsx in a truck? I'm sure in a car it would get as good or better mpg than an 6cyl suv. I personally have not heard of any tuning software for them.

yea im lookin for an SUV not a car, and i was hoping i could tune the 6 cylinders as easily as the 8s

You would get a better response in the PCM/Diag section...but to answer your question I think there is a version of HPTuners that does that. If you are buying new you should consider HPTuner anyway, much more features and easier to user than ls1Edit.
