Diablo a/f tune
Diablo a/f tune I have the SLP custom Diablo tuner. I recently had Pacesetter LT with TSP catted Y installed. I've read it will run a little rich with LTs. My question is how can I adjust the air/fuel with my tuner? I played with it last week, it's got the option to do it, but I don't know what/how to set it, and I don't want to make it run too rich/lean. Anyone know what to do? I'd rather do it myself, even if it will help just a little, then pay $250 or so and wait for an appointment for a dyno tune.
Well, if it's just LTs that you have then you could possibly do it with Diablo.
Diablo adjusts UP TO +/- 3% of your nomminal AFR...So if it runs rich, decrease fuel to up to 3% (in 1% increments) and see how it responds..... you might not get the most ponies out of it, but at least your mixture's gonna be safe....
The problem is that you still gotta find a way to see the true AFR...it will be rich, but how much, and how will your 1% increments alter that ?

You should really consider a custom tune from a Diablosport CMR dealer. You need to make changes to the A/F ratio at full and part throttle, meaning adjustments to the injector slope and WOT fuel tables must be made. If you are not sure how to make these adjustments, you should bring it to a pro. Tunes are a necessery part of every performance upgrade you make these days, and the cost should be automatically added in. Good luck with it.
