Default colbolt 2-bar map sensor?

HI
I recieved the Colbolt map two bar sensor part # ( 12580698)
today, I want to tune my car with it in SD. But It looks very small, not that that matters, but the nipple that conetcs to either a vac-boost line or to push into a LS1 intake looks small,
How do i install this sensor?
Do i pull out my stock one out and install this one into the same port on the back of my intake, where my stock sensor is?
I hope i ordered the right sensor.
Please let me know
thank you
Walter

It comes without the factory gasket. Just pull out the 1 bar map , remove the gasket and install it on the Cobalt map, trim the edge to match the factory 1 bar and plug it in the factory hole..

To R&R the MAP sensor, disconnect the electrical connector, then twist the connector portion of the sensor twoards the front of the engine to unclip it, then simply pull the MAP sensor up. To install, just push down on it and connect the electrical connector.

OK
Its in.
not too bad to do , tore up my arm a little,

But now that its in , and reading my interceptor scan gauge, i dont see boost being read, but my autometer vac/boost gauge it reading 0-10 PSI.

I guess it wont read boost until i have the car tuned S/D?

does anyone know?

Yes, you will need to convert over to a 2-BAR custom OS.

Both HPTuners and EFI-Live offer the custom OS (operating system) you need for use with a 2-BAR map (for use with boosted applications). This increases the VE table from 105kpa to 210kpa (or 315kpa for 3-BAR), plus it adds a Boost Enrichment table and enabler settings for the added boost.

Nice,
what about my VE tables from off idle to around 3,000 RPM where my car is running rich now and my LTFT are 20-25 %

is there a better way to tune them with EFI live?

You can use the STFT or a wideband with the "autotune" feature to get your fuel trims in line.

Yes, just let your tuner know you now have the 2-BAR MAP sensor, he should be able to apply and tune with a custom OS from EFI-Live.
