iam takin the 99 ls1 engine out of my automatic car and trying to drop the entire engine into a 2002 ls1 6speed is there and differences in the sensors or the wireing harness from the 99 auto to the 02 6speed on the engine i will be bolting up the 99 ls1 on to the T56 thats in the 02 car..

 

does anyone know if everthing with switch right over?

 

Everything should switch right over... I'm not aware of any engine related sensors that changed from 99-02 (there were some internal changes however)

a few things to consider:
1. If you're using hte PCM from the auto car, you'll wanna reflash it for an M6 calibration
2. If you're using the PCM from your 02 M6, probably want to compare the tables between the 99 and 02 PCMs and make the 02 tables look more like the 99 (VE, PE)

Also keep in mind the 99 engine will have 26lb/hr injectors whereas your 02 engine came with 28lb/hr (connectors will fit fine, but the tune would be off causing the engine to go leaner than normal)

can you swap the injectors over from an 02 ls1 and will they go right on to the 99 motor

 

You can swap them but you may need some tuning afterwards. The 99's have 26lb injectors.....the 02's have 28lb.

 

Do the 26lb injectors ever run at 100% duty cycle though?
