Default car runs like poo

i through a code for insuficcient switching of bank 1 sensor2 so i went and bought a new bosch. I noticed that i had drug my 02 extension and the weather packing couldnt get a good seal, i assume water getting on the connection is the problem so i dried it and RTV it for a temp solution but still threw the code and car runs like crapola.

After i have been driving for a few minutes the car starts to, what feels like a misfire on multiple cylinders, and clears up when i reach 4k+ rpms or go wot. Once i have been in the car for a longer period it clears up and goes away. But from idle to 4k rpms i have almost no power.

could the bad sensor cause this??? I also had to change my knock sensors, as one of them craped out.

Thanks
Tyler

Runs ok 4000+ because you are in open loop.
Certainly sounds like your o2 might be dodgy, rtv is a no no with them!

You could just tune open loop and be done with them altogether.

Call me a dummy if I'm wrong - but I thought rear 02 codes didn't affect performance? Sure it was a bank1, sensor 2 code?

Quit guessing. Get one of your buds to hook up their scanner while you are .
