Please help my engine light is on and it saying engine coolant temp sensor circut high. WTF is that. I put a new one on and engine light came back on and it said the same thing. So i replaced it again and it came on again, please help

If you replaced the '98 ECT with the correct sensor (later years are different, 2 pins vs. 3) probably a wire or the connector. Wasn't an IAT code by chance?
