On your timing tables do you have a general area (group of cells) with one numeral (27 degrees) or do you have various degrees in a general area?

There are some spots on my timing table where a group of nearby cells all have the same values. This is mainly limited to WOT and off-throttle deceleration. The idea of doing this is, it ensures a specific value is commanded for a certian aspect of driving. When decelerating, I found that my car likes about 40* of timing under 2,000rpm. To keep it from jumping around, I have 40* of timing for 1,400-2,000rpm and anything less than .24 grams/cylinder. The effect is the appearance of a flat spot.
