Question BS3 tune help (car runs)

OK here goes...BS3; '02 stock LS1; stock injectors and intake; M6; 2 bar; T70 turbo; .96 A/R; no MAF. No luck in the tune bin. Car is driveable, good transition but throttle response a lil slow, good start, still runs a lil rich. Would a stocktune w/2 bar be good for now? My builder and I just want to really get this going good cuz he's been working on this project a LONG time. I'm an over the road trucker, rarely there, and he is alone while driving/tuning. He's got about 2-3 hours seat time on this. Trying to cut down on trail and error. Does anyone have a tune available for this setup? Tnx in advance.

might want to try a sequential twin turbo supra setup, it will change your opinion on turbo response. in parallel mode you're right, it's boring laggy oldschool turbo behavior.

I wouldn't (definitely) call it boring or laggy, but if I wanted NOW response I'd have an SC.

The lack of throttle response is when it is NOT in boost. The motor hasn't seen boost yet. He's trying to get the 1 bar tuning first.

I'm trying to quantify this "sogginess"... The backpressure added by the turbo can DEFINITELY be felt when out of boost. I guess I'm trying to get a feel for whether this is the normal part of having a turbo or if there is some problem...

I see you are saying it's rich.... you have BS3, just tell it what AFR you WANT it to be at, it does the magic, and you get your target AFR. That's the beaut of closed-loop wideband. Assuming your AFR table is in good shape, timing is all that is left to really look at.
