PLX>>>EFIlive problem I was working on a car today but could not get my PLX M-300 to read in EFILive, said that it wasnt a valid PID. I had the PLX wired to the battery, I tried running the white wire and grey wire to port C and E on the EFILive cable, neither worked. What is the proper way to hook it up? Thanks.
Yah, I did that I am just unsure of which wire goes where on the EFILive box. I never had a problem datalogging with my LC1, but I had instructions on which wire goes where.
gotcha. you'll have to get the plx manual to verify the signal and signal ground, then you can use the pin-out diagram in the LC1 tutorial. I don't recal the alpha designations on V1, but signal ground is the center terminal, left or right of that will be aux1 and aux2.
I think I am just going to have to mess with it. The "manual" that came with the wideband doesn't go into detail about it one bit. There is a power, ground, and 2 (0-5V) voltage output wires.
