get in tuned or buy tuner I installed my cam/lt's and etc. etc., should i just take it somewhere and get it tuned or buy my own tuner. I have never messed with tuning an LS1 but have been tuning old school carbed stuff for a long time. I was looking at EFI live but don't really no what i should do. I am planing on building a new motor in the future so i may come out ahead just buying a tuner.

After initially getting a dyno tune from a well respected shop and having to go back 4 or so times to fix misc issues with the tune I decided to just start tuning myself...once you get into it its really not that difficult...its just alot of reading & experimentation really. Things have come so far from when I started too...theres a wealth of information available now & so many tuning options out there compared to 3 or 4 years ago.

I thought about getting an old 93-96 V6 Camaro to play with but decided against it...just a tad more and you get a newer car and I can just plug in HPT...
