What all would I need to tune my own car with ls1 edit which is what the shop has been using to tune it? But I would like to be capable of doing some myself. Thanks for any information.

 

Well you would need to get LS1 edit, a scaning tool and a laptop. You would be better to be off with something like EFIlive or HpTuners. Both of those have all the tools you need to tune, and comes with build in scanners. They also work are faster. Still need the laptop for those. The last thing you need is to read alot, and then read more.

Both HpTuners and EFIlive can read your computer with what the shop has changed and you can go from there. OR you can get a stock tune and work with that. As long as your tuner did not lock your computer that is.
