operating system im a new user to efi live and can really only do basic stuff (for now). anyway, i have a 99 T/A manual. in about a month i am going to be installing an ls6 intake, headers, an airlid, and an 85mm granatelli zo6 maf. i was looking at the stock tunes at holdencrazy and was wondering what OS i should download to have a starting point with. i figured an 01-02 OS. i was looking at downloading the 02 vette z06 manual stock tune. i figured since it has a 85mm maf and an ls6 intake. not sure if it will work since it is an ls6 and i have an ls1. like i said im new to this but would like any input to help me.
I would goto the modified tunes section of Holdencrazy and download the 99 migration to 12212156 OS to start. As for the LS6 intake and the 85mm MAF, I would perform the AutoVE procedure and rescale the MAF. The ZO6 OS and cal will not work for you for a number of reasons, but the VE table and MAF tables could be used as a reference point only for your recalibration efforts.
