help! lose in Rpm's. P0430
Alright I have 4.10 gears .... cruising at about 40mph i should be at or above 20000 RPM's .... but instead im at 15000RPM's .... it seems that my car doesn't go above 20000 unless i really get on it or go above 55 ...needless to say something isn't right... checked and got this code P0430 which is Catalyst system efficiency below threshold (bank 2) ..... would the loss in Rpm's be related to this? ..... and i need some suggestions on what this code could mean.... i know it could be a bad O2 sensor, bad cat, fuel mixture being too rich or an exhaust leak .... would like to have some imput though on which one you guys think it would most likely be and what i might be able to do to fix it .... thanks guys

According to my gear calculator, 4.10's + overdrive = 1544RPM's @ 40mph. If you were in 3rd, then you should be at 2205RPM's at 40mph. Keep in mind this is with a locked drivetrain (torque converter clutch is engaged). If the TCC is unlocked, then your RPM's will vary slightly.
