How to tune low LTFT's?
How to tune low LTFT's? Would you tune the VE the same way at .4 and .8 as you would at the rest of the rpm scale, or would idle or anything else come in to play at the low rpm level?
You only need to focus on cells in and around the areas your car sees under normal operation. I say "in and around" because the PCM will interpolate between cells. The numbers in your VE table represent the center point for that cell. By knowing where the centerpoints of the surrounding cells are, the PCM can guess-timate the VE for values around the edge of the cells (ie 32kPa@650rpm). Since you're bolt-ons only, there shouldn't be much change to the 400 and 800 rpm cells. Focus on the 400~800RPM & 25~40kPa cells as this is where your car should be idling. Once those are dialed in, you can adjust the surrounding cells by hand to make it more astheticly pleasing if you like. But chances are, you won't see much time (if any) in those cells.
