Default what happened

I went to start up the ss tonight and as I turned the ignition i heard nothing. Then as soon as i pulled the key out i heard a clicking noise it sounded like the starter so i put the key back in and turned it to the on position the noise went away. Then the engine light starts flashing i hope i didnn't screw anything up and it just means a dead battery.

I'd start with the battery/connections first - had two fail on me and never experienced what you did though, and never an SES light.

weird. tonight i got a few problems fixed on my T/A when i went to see if it'd crank over i turned the key and got nothing. soon as i put the key in the run position and out of the cranking position i heard a sound like the starter was spinning. this was while i had the starter unbolted but still wired. . .
