2004 GTO computer questions

2004 GTO computer questions I need to get my hands on a ecm with a GTO program and VIN for my hybrid.
Ultimately it will be tuned to go with a 243 head and an LPE cam, but for smog purposes, i am much better off calling it a GTO.
I know from research here that the green plastic connector insert in the harness can be changed, and my current harness will simply plug into the 04 box.
does anyone here know if various mechanical throttle 04 ecm (ie truck, gto etc) are the same?
any thoughts on whether or not they can each be flashed with 04 gto software programming?
