strange ls1edit error: gear and gear2 are different

strange ls1edit error: gear and gear2 are different Under the Speedometer section in ls1edit when looking at the Gear tab I get the error:
"Gear and Gear2 are different you can't rescale this file"
There are two different values in Gear and Gear2, and the "Apply Gear Scale" field and button doesnt work to make them the same.
Anyone seen this? How do I fix it? Does it matter?
