Default PE vs Temperature

Do you tune PE adder vs Coolant Temperature?

I was tuning WOT with my wideband and got different values every run.
It looks like that the PE adder is messing with my tuning and I'm tempted to set it to zero up to at least 230F

Is that a good idea?

if your hitting ECT temps of 230+ at wot I would consider lowering your fan temps settings a little lower.

The stock adder is zero up to 212F: as soon it gets higher than that it starts to modifying PE.

My fan settings are:
low on 216F
low off 209F
high on 224F
high off 217F

I have such high values because this is an all-year-car. I don't want to have a too cold engine in winter and don't want to have the fans on in summer all the time

...a compromise...

If the car is tuned appropriately, it shouldn't matter all that much. You're still comparing commanded AFR vs observed AFR. If you plan on keeping the car in speed density, then you'll probably have several seasonal tunes. If not, tune the VE while the weather is warmer, turn the MAF back on and tune the MAF. That way (worst case scenario), it'll be a little rich in the winter instead of a little lean in the summer. Just my $0.02...

Nope... I compared AFR at WOT at different engine temperatures.
1st + 2nd gear it was below 212F
3rd gear it was just above 212F and there was already 0.1 AFR difference.
Not that much, I know, but the higher the ECT, the higher the PE adder.

Already done. PE in SD or with MAF is almost the same, maybe a little richer in SD (while NA = blower belt off).
I need the MAF because of an occasional little overpressure in the intake manifold...
