OK. someone please help me with this code I got a p1336 code after i did the automatic start. I have never had a problem with the automatic start on my 6speed. so i replaced the pcm about 2 months ago. never did the relearn procedure so anyone have any ideas what do i have to do. please help me erase this code
First, do you have a scanner that can reset the DTCs? If not, most auto parts stores will loan you one.

One thing the site forgets to mention is that once the learning process is complete, you have to clear the DTC using the scanner.

what scanner will clear this dtc and perform the crank learn program? i have a actron cp9135 scanner it will read and clear codes but it wouldnt clear the p1336. and i dont think it had an option for crank learn.

i just saw a link to a good article on this problem on another forum. basically you need to go to the dealer or find someone has a tech 2 or something.
